Why should you enroll in this course?

Before you study anything else, make sure you know which things are fundamental, and that you understand and believe them.

  • Avoid common mistakes most new believers make

  • Avoid common misunderstandings most new believers have

  • Avoid common distraction traps most believers make (both new and mature believers)

Can you recommend this to your church?

Here’s an overview of our theology and approach:

  • In Core Beliefs, we distinguish between what is distinctly historically and traditionally Christian from what is not Christian. We do refute certain Catholic and Orthodox beliefs while recognizing that these are considered by many as Christian beliefs.

  • In Essential Beliefs, we explain how Catholic and Protestants view the biblical canon, grace, justification, salvation, etc. and do teach the Protestant view is the position we believe true. We teach a conservative moral ethic, arguing that the alternatives are sinful and abhorrent to God.

  • In Important beliefs, we explain the different views held in Protestant theology (Cessationism vs. Continuationism, Calvinism vs. Provisionism/Arminianism, etc, , acknowledging that both are decidedly Christian, while advocating for the latter.
